# Swap

**Step 1: Connect Wallet**

Click “Connect Wallet” on the right side of the screen to connect your wallet (MetaMask, Rabby Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Gate Wallet, OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Binance Wallet, Wallet Connect).

**Step 2: Select “Swap” on the homepage**

**Step 3: Choose the token you have**

Use the dropdown menu to select the token you want to trade.

**Notice:** Since Swap Feature is currently built on top of the Hyperliquid orderbook, only spot balances deposited on the Hyperliquid DEX are displayed and available for swapping.

Further updates will be made when HyperEVM is LIVE on mainnet.

If you do not have spot balances on the Hyperliquid orderbook, you can go to Hyperliquid to add spot balances at <https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade>

**Step 4: Choose the token you want**

Use the second dropdown menu to select the token you want to receive.

**Step 5: Enter the amount**

Input the number of tokens you wish to exchange.

**Note:** Due to Hyperliquid's tick size regulations, cases exceeding its tick size cannot be supported. Therefore, make sure to check our notice about tick size when you start swapping.

**Step 6: Adjust Slippage Tolerance**

Slippage tolerance is the difference between the price at the time of confirmation and the actual transaction price that you accept during swaps on Harmonix Finance.

**Note:** Max slippage is the maximum price difference you are willing to accept. If the price changes beyond this level, the transaction will not go through.

**If the swap price goes outside of the allowed slippage set (typically 2-3%), it will fail.**

**Step 7: Review and confirm Swap**

Click "Review" → Carefully check all transaction details. If everything is correct, choose "Swap"&#x20;

→ Successful Swap.
